WHEN a freshly practical coat of outside paint starts to crack and pare inside a year or less, the indignant homeowner will usually blame the paint, only in most cases it is not the error of the pigment at all. It volition exist considering of faulty preparation of the surface before the paint was applied, or considering of structural defects that should have been corrected before the house was painted.

Of course, there may be some instances when the pigment itself is at mistake - either considering it was of very poor quality or was the wrong kind for the job. Some other common fault is painting over surfaces that are very dusty or where the one-time paint is chalking and powdering desperately. The dust and powder should be removed by washing or vigorously brushing the surface or applying a special bonding primer for the first glaze to provide a business firm foundation for the finish coats.

Putting new paint on over an old glaze of pigment that is nonetheless quite glossy is almost as bad equally painting over clay or grease - the new pigment won't bond properly and will oft start to flake off in a brusk while.
